These Shoes Are Lined With Leather That's Tanned Without Chrome Or Heavy Metals. They're Padded With A Blend Of Renewable, Plant-Based Foam, And Some The Conventional Stuff. So It's Still Soft And Cushiony But From More Responsible Sources. We Also Used 80% Recycled Plastic In Our Heels And Toplifts, And Regenerated Leather Outsoles Made Of 70% Leather Scrap. We Like Recycled Materials Because They Lessen The Water And Carbon Impact Of Our Shoes And Keep Stuff Out Of Landfills.
